In School, each of the classes took part in a community art project with Hilsea Lido Pool for the People and the Final Straw Foundation. They teamed up to invite local school children to help create a mural at the entrance of the Lido and to decorate other areas of the Lido with environmental messages.
The purpose of the project is to publicise the reopening of the Lido, to look forward to fun times as we emerge out of lockdown, to bring colour and interest to the Lido and to help spread positive environmental messages.
5 children from each class were selected to have their images used.
There will also be an opportunity for the selected Junior children to paint their design directly on the mural at a future date.
